FAQ and Info
Bubblisar are a unique treatment method for edema diseases that, with their bubbly surface, provide both compression and lymphatic massage. Bubblisar often work excellently also for other conditions that cause fluid accumulation/swelling. For those who want to avoid swollen legs and blood clots in case of complex venous insufficiency or pregnancy, for those who want to avoid mild lymphedema after cancer surgery, etc.
Bubblisar also facilitate the removal of lactic acid during and after training and can reduce "training pain".
Finally, Bubblisar can actually be used "only" because they are comfortable, smooth out cellulite and give a nicer silhouette!

Our products
What is so special about Bubblisar?
The unique thing about Bubblisar is that they are strong and flexible at the same time, and that they provide both lymphatic massage and compression!
How do I put them on?
That is a very good question! Always wear gloves for a better grip and to avoid tearing holes with your nails. In general, it is not possible to roll up the garments as you do with normal tights, but they must be put on like all compression; first the foot part or sleeve cuff, then turning the garment "inside-out" down over the feet/hands and from the inside gently pull up centimeter by centimeter until you are up in the groin/armpits. Then you distribute all the bubble rows evenly and make sure that there are no "folds". Then you turn the rest of the garment over and "jump down the butt" or alternatively pull on the rest of the shirt - still without tucking the material together.
What materials are your products made of?
Polyamide (nylon) and Elastane.
How should I care for and wash my Bubblisar?
Wash inside out at a maximum of 40 degrees and hang dry. They can handle higher temperature washes, but frequent high temperature washes or tumbling will wear them down. A quick wash at 30 degrees is enough when you think they have become dirty or too stretched. Polyamide does not absorb odors so they can often be used for many days without washing. Think primarily about airing and secondarily about washing.
ATTENTION!! DO NOT use fabric softener. It destroys the elastane!
Bubblisar are very durable and can even be cut without damage. What can damage them is if you get stuck in them with sharp objects, such as a broken nail. Wear gloves when handling them. Also remember to pull them up properly in the crotch, otherwise they may crack or in the long run become worn there as the crotch seams are not as stretchy as the fabric.
What do I do if my Bubblisar get too big?
You can primarily try to shrink them by heating them for about 10-15 minutes in water that holds about 90-95 degrees celsius. It is also possible to wash them at this temperature, but a long washing program wears out unnecessarily so you should not do this repeatedly.
If the elastane is too worn, it can be difficult to get them really small again. Then you can keep them for occasions where such hard compression is not needed, for example at home on the sofa or at night :)
What is the difference between Thin Bubblisar and Bubblisar?
Bubblisar is the original product that maintains good compression and also resists post-operative swelling. They are quite thick and have a clear shaping and smoothing effect. They go down over the feet to the toes and have a smooth foot part to fit better in shoes. The foot part can be cut off without damage or sewn together to form full pantyhose.
Thin Bubblisar have less compression and not so strong "vacuum cups" but a slightly more wavy massaging pattern. They are often enough for everyday life if you do not have major medical problems and, above all, they are much easier to put on. Especially the light color variants are also significantly cooler in the sunshine. Thin Bubblisar doesn't have a separate foot part but can be pulled down over the heel
Sizes and Compression
What sizes do your products come in?
Bubblisar are available in sizes XXS-XXL, Thin Bubblisar in XS-XXXL, Long-sleeved Shirt & Tank Tops in XS-XXL and the Bolero Sleeves are available in five different sizes based on upper arm measurements.
This means that they fit approximately size 145 cl - women's size 60 EU. Please note that it is not possible to translate Bubblisar's size into regular clothing, as arm and leg measurements are very important!
What compression grade does Bubblisar have?
It is not possible to answer directly. Normally, compression is measured on made-to-measure garments, where you only measure the degree of compression according to how stiff the flat material is. Since Bubblisar are elastic in three dimensions, such a measuring apparatus does not work. You can also lab with compression level depending on which size you choose - see below!
By comparison, it can be said that "normal size" Bubblisar have an effect equivalent to class 2 compression and Thin Bubblisar roughly correspond to class 1.
How does size affect compression?
Smaller size gives higher compression and slightly less massage because the bubbles are then stretched and become less effective.
Larger size gives better massage effect and less pressure.
With the same measurements, you can usually have 3-4 different sizes that fit but in different ways. It's not that the smallest size is the most effective, but it's about finding a good balance between pressure and massage based on individual needs.
How do I determine the right size and compression for me?
In the vast majority of cases, you can start from the size charts and try to be as much "in the middle" as possible on the measurements.
In Thin Bubblisar, you can go down a size if you want more compression.
If you need strong compression immediately after surgery, you should go down in size and possibly use with double layers, bandages, corsets, etc. on the outside. (See upcoming section)
Areas of Use, Medical Questions
What is lipedema?
Lipedema is a common female disease that is unfortunately often underdiagnosed. It is a hormone-sensitive disease in the adipose tissue with many small, demarcated benign fat tumors, vascular changes that bleed easily, impaired superficial lymph flow, bumpy, uneven skin that easily collects fluid. It affects genetically predetermined areas of the body where there are several different types of spread. Characteristically, although the arms and legs are large and swollen, the hands and feet are narrow, but there is a clear demarcation between diseased and healthy tissue.
Who benefits from using Bubblisar?
Anyone who has a tendency to swelling or a feeling of heaviness, anyone who wants to prevent the development of lipedema, lymph stagnation or venous blood clots, anyone who wants to counteract "cellulite", anyone who needs "more vigorous legs".
Bubblisar have also been shown to be effective in hypermobility syndrome and POTS in many cases; they can act as an "external skeleton" and help hold the body together without a drop in blood pressure
How exactly does Bubblisar benefit women with lipedema?
Bubblisar do the same job as a lymph therapist or LPG treatment but every day, hour in and hour out. Flat compression instead compresses the superficial lymphatic vessels so it has no lasting effect but only temporarily compresses the tissue.
Can I use my Bubblisar during training?
Yes absolutely! Both during and after exercise, Bubblisar work to massage away waste products and stimulate circulation.
Do Bubblisar have any side effects?
Yes, in a sense. If you have accumulated fluid in your legs due to an underfunctioning lymphatic system, there is a low-grade inflammation in the tissue. When you then begin an effective treatment so lymph fluid is massaged upwards and into the blood circulation, a reaction similar to fever chills occurs. It starts with tingling in the legs and then spreads to a malaise that can resemble the flu with a fever.
Note that this is normal and not dangerous! To reduce the discomfort, you can gradually increase the time you wear Bubblisar and take breaks if necessary.
This is actually a positive effect because it is precisely the inflammatory substances that you want to get rid of; they drive fat accumulation and swelling in a vicious cycle that Bubblisar can help break!
How long can I wear my Bubblisar each day?
You can wear Bubblisar as long as you want :)
Can I sleep with Bubblisar?
Yes absolutely! Usually it is better to sleep in softer/larger Bubblisar because you may not notice if they are tight or stuck somewhere if you curl up your body in your sleep.
After surgery
What operations can Bubblisar be used after?
Bubblisar are primarily developed to be able to provide optimal compression after lipedema surgery - that is, liposuction of large areas. Then it generally applies that immediately after the operation you can have the smallest size you were in before the procedure and then you can usually change down even more in size as the swelling decreases. We recommend that you have Bubblisar underneath as stretchable basic compression to avoid necrosis and then regulate pressure on the outside as needed with e.g. inelastic leg wraps, girdles, extra layers of Bubblisar, etc.
Bubblisar can also be used as prophylaxis against lymph-related swelling after certain cancer operations (the shirt and tank top have room for breast implants) or varicose vein surgery, etc.

Returns and Exchanges
What is your return policy? How do I return an item? How do I exchange an item?
Bubblisar are seen as underwear because they fit so tightly against the skin. We only accept returns for repurchases of unused, untried garments in new condition in original packaging. You will get the money back after contacting us and when we have received and approved the garment. Many people are surprised that the clothes look so small and think they have to change to a larger size, even though they ordered according to measurements or advice. But since they are tailored to your measurements, they will fit once you put them on! Do not give up! Contact us if you need help with the best way to put on compression! Garments that are undamaged and tried on with underwear can be exchanged for another size/model at no extra cost in addition to return shipping. Contact us at info@bubblisar.com for advice and instructions.
How long does it take to process a return?
Expect about a week from when the garment has been returned to us.
Clinics and Partnerships
Do you offer wholesale?
Not at the moment, we cannot meet the demand for our products yet.
How can I become a reseller of your products?
First of all, we want to tell you that it is not so "profitable" to be a dealer because there are very small margins on the price as we want to keep it as low as possible for the customer. However, there can of course be great added value in being able to offer one's own customers/patients an effective and well-tested product! In the future, when we have built up a greater stock, we can imagine different types of collaborations to be able to help as many people as possible in the right way.
